I tend to sketch on random pieces of paper and haven't done anything finished since graduating from college in 2003. Hoping that joining this site will encourage me to sit down and complete something and receive critiques that will help improve my skills and push me to produce more works.

Things in PA are good. Its really really hot down here. I took my first Aikido test at the dojo I go to and to my amazement passed. Oh and I can forward roll a lot better now. -woot- Your drawings are really coming along. I especially like the Aikido people and the lego shot almost looks like a photo. You did really good with it. How have your classes been? Enjoying the summer?

Thanks ^_^ I'm still working on both styles, even hoping to combine them in my next personal series.

Classes are good, I'm taking a tedious painting course right now and the rest of my summer is Aikido. Despite the fact that I'll miss Aikido I'm eager to start this next semester.

How has the graphic design world been going? Any cool assignments lately?

6th kye (i think I spelled that right?) They have six texts if I'm not mistaken to black belt and it counts down... so I took the first test or 6th kye. I think its probably similar to a yellow belt test maybe. *shrugs*

Your final painting project came out really nice. It has a real sense of depth and the lighting is done nicely. What do you plan to be doing when you graduate?

No real graphic design projects. I've designed some in-house mailings but other than that just the same 'ol same 'ol of working with other peoples files. Making sure they are setup right for print. Been doing alot of variable mailings lately -woot-

^_^ Thanks. 3 days with mosquetos and the sun. o.o I'm planning on going to grad school for my MAT after I finish getting my BFA. I'm hoping to teach in highschool or college.

So what's in-house and out-house mailing?
